Marketing your item correctly is important. We competitively price items and present them accurately through written description and photographs to encourage the sale. We make every effort to optimize the sale of your item.
Jods and Odds will price individual items based on the following criteria:
1. General condition of item
2. Manufacturer or Brand
3. Popularity and Demand
4. Market research of sales prices
Specific prices may be requested and these may be discussed upon receipt of items. Please feel free to email in advance if you wish to discuss pricing, however, we reserve the right to set selling prices only after satisfactory inspection of individual items.
Consignment fee: Jods and Odds will charge 25% of the selling price for listing the item in the Jods and Odds on line store.
eBay service: We also offer the service of having your items placed at auction on eBay. This greatly enhances the probabilty of a sale and is great for items you want to sell at lower prices. You will be responsible for the added eBay fees. They will be subtracted from your sale proceeds in addition to the 25% commision.
Payment of your proceeds of the sale will be mailed to you at the address you specify. Payment is made once your items have sold.
Items must be received clean, pressed and in good repair! It needs to be appealing to the buyer. Please wash and press or have the item dry cleaned.
The types of items we will consign are listed on the website. Jods and Odds reserves the right to refuse any item we feel has no sale potential.
You may pick up your items at any time you want to remove them from consignment. Shipping is available at your expense. If an item is not selling at the set price, you may contact us to lower the price to encourage the sale or we may contact you to discuss this. If an item isn't selling after an extended period of time and and you do not want the item we can also donate it to a charitable organization.
